Another card for my "2016 Send a Smile" challenge stash. Thought it might be nice to make a cute card with a bit more of a masculine feel. (Bears are masculine, right?) Helped that I had colored the bear awhile back so he was colored, die cut and ready to go.
The DSP is from an old October Afternoon 8x8 pack. Paired it with some shimmery Bazzill cardstock and some SU Early Espresso.
Stamped my sentiment and then used a small stitched square die to cut it out. Thought it would be more interesting if I positioned it like a diamond. Popped it in under his arm and used glossy accents to make sure it stayed put. Used foam tape to pop him up and then layered everything onto a white card base.
Inside sentiment (computer generated): I think you're very special!
TFL!

What a cute papa bear Debbie. Love how you used your DSP and Bazzil textured papers for the background. The perfect sentiment inside for your main sentiment too :-) TFS my friend.
BTW, I had the nicest visit with Kristi and all the kids today. She "loved your card"! I knew she would since she loves monkeys :-) Hugs, Nancy

Ah, Debbie, you make the sweetest cards - for males and females! And this is perfect for a masculine card! I LOVE this sweet bear and how you've got him holding the sentiment. I love the DP and your fabulous coloring! Hugs!
