Hello, my sweet and dear friends! I had such fun with this newest remixed digi from Power Poppy, and this is a favorite. I was hoping it would be remixed soon. I have to admit that I struggled about what color to make my tulips, but I ended up going from dark pink to red. When I found this designer paper from Home Sweet Home, it worked with using the Cheery Lynn doily die I so love. Because of that, it's a large card, but it's going to have to be sent in a box anyway, which is why I ended up with a ribbon to finish it off. I sanded the edges of the paper (the closest I often get to vintage - ha!), and of course, I always love paper piercing. In hindsight, I wish the pitcher were lighter, but oh well! On to another card, right? Hehe!
We had two doctors' appointments this week, and the most important one was with my DH's orthopedist. DH decided to postpone the knee replacement surgery, and he is a happier camper. It turns out that his knee is doing better, so we'll see how long it lasts. Thanks for your prayers! I think most of you will agree that men don't make good patients, right? My doctor's appointment was fine, and I just want to not have any more for a while - I think that will help me a lot!
So thank you so much for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a great week! Stop by my blog for more details. Big hugs, sweet friends! You are dearly loved!

Sister! Your gorgeous colors drew me in, and I had to linger to take in how very beautiful your design is. Completely wonderful!!! So thankful Walt is better, and also that you are on the mend. Hugs (tender) from the Tribe. Lymi

Just stunning, Cheryl. I LOVE tulips and these are colored so that they look real. I noticed that paper right away, too. I had to take a closer look and it really makes your image pop. So happy your hubby won't need the surgery and hope he never will. It is great that your doctor's appt. was fine and I hope you are feeling better. Hugs to you. I hope you have a wonderful Easter.

This is amazing. I love it. The colour combination is just right and it matches the design paper so nicely. I must agree with you - not visiting the Doctor for appointments is sometimes the best medicine (he he).

Oh, my sweet friend, this is strikingly beautiful!! Before I read your description, I looked at the card and thought what a gorgeous color for the pitcher!! Then I read your description and you shared you wish it were lighter. Personally, I love the color and think it is perfect! And what a fabulous job you did with the coloring of the tulips! BTW, praise God that your DH's knee is feeling better! Great feeling to know that God hears our prayers and responds! Glad your visit went well!
