This is for 3 challenges: F4A Book Pages/Print and WT Bunny Hop challenge to use a rabbit. I printed out the opening from Beatrix PotterÂ’s story of Peter Rabbit. I lightly stamped a fir-tree next to it. At the bottom I stamped a cute saying that is new to me.
“May your joy be as long as a rabbit’s ears and your sorrow as short as his tail.”
IÂ’ve had this stamp for a while but havenÂ’t used yet. This works for MerlaÂ’s VSN challenge to use something new in your stash. Peter Rabbit is in the circle. His short joy was sneaking into Mr. McGregorÂ’s garden, but his long sorrow was losing his blue jacket & shoe, being scared & chased out, and not being able to eat the blackberries with his siblings for disobeying his mother. Sounds like he got things mixed up! Thanks for looking!

What a great use of the long tall format, Diane... and a lovely way of using a book page. I've never seen that saying before either...and a hare's ears would be even more joy!!
