MIX165-Winging It--Make a card or project using something with wings
I love my butterfly, Flicker and Flutter, from Penny Black. I die cut two butterflies using pearlescent paper on the top making it take on the colors of my watercolor wash background.
My background was made with Brushos in purple and turquoise. The doilies were stamped first with VersaMark Frost which resisted the Brushos.
I die cut my sentiment twice and sponged the one underneath for a bit of color. I offset the white one on top to show a little of the color underneath.

This is GORGEOUS, Brenda! Your soft pastels scream spring and the barely there color on the butterfly is dreamy. The cheesecloth is a wonderful embellishment.

I thought this might have been MariLynn's card at first, with the cheesecloth/muslin and the butterfly - both trademarks. I love the soft light airiness of it with the white matting and lovely emboss resist.

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?

Wow, Brenda!! Your card is marvelous!! The brusho bg is fabulous (wish I could create with them) along with the beautiful butterfly and embossing. The piece of gauze really makes the card pop! Wonderful work my friend!!
