I had struggled with the colors for the challenge this week. I had tried once to make some flowers, but they just didn't look right. When I saw todays WT challenge to use a book page, I decided to try again. I switched flowers and Used some gel paste died with ink to stencil some leaves onto my book page. I also sponged a little ink on to the page as well so it was a little more of the green. I didn't have mint macaron so I used sage shadow. I did the flowers in blushing bride onto white CS and stamped the detail stamp in Blackberry bliss but stamped off about three times before stamping the outlines. I also stamped one partial blossom on the bottom of the card inside.

Oh, this turned out so well, Pat. The combination of stencilled and stamped foliage is great. I especially like the stamped leaves; once I've fussy-cut flowers I think I would always add die-cut foliage, thinking that dimension needs dimension. Well, either it doesn't, or the stencilling adds enough to subconsciously meet my expectations!!

Oh Pat this is lovely. I had to go back several times to take in all the elements you did on this card. Great take on the color challenge. The stenciled leaves are so pretty on the printed page. Fav'd Tfs
