Hello everyone,
So for today's card I needed to make a manly one for my son's birthday that will be in April. I knew this dp I bought at the warehouse sale last year would come in handy for manly cards, so I bought a few packs of it, and use it now and then for those.
My Bull Elk image from I Brake For Stamps ,I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out, simple but yet nice. My son loves the outdoors, so I thought this would be perfect, rustic and manly, way out of my comfort zone, but I am pleasantly pleased with this one.
I added ribbon and a button. no girly stuff on this one....heheheheheheehe oh boy!
I added a tag for the birthday greeting on this one, and its a Pebbles Jen Hadfield tag. Love these, as they do come in handy when you need a quick sentiment already to go.
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day
hugs to all,
Cheryl

Wow! I find guy cards very hard to do but you have really nailed it with this one! I love your colouring on the elk and the background! Very clever to turn the sketch on its side. Wonderful card!

Awesome take on the sketch! Love the main image - your coloring, the sky and the grass. Great! Wonderful use of the masculine papers. Very nicely done. TFS
