I broke out the pics before I was married which I never intended on scrapping. I really like this layout and never would have done anything like it without the challenge and the time crunch. I did forget about the pretty ribbon though.
Journaling reads: My second tour in Covenant Players was in North and South Dakota and eastern Montana. We would be in one city one week doing one to four shows and then another city the next week. There were four of us traveling in a van going from city to city. There was very little privacy and many personality conflicts. It was a very hard tour for me. I did not get along well with my team, the van stank, and we had extremely long drives to get to the next show. The drive wouldn’t have bothered me but I just wanted to get out of the van and have some “alone” time. What made matters worse was that the area was so flat that we would drive along and could see the next city. Five hours later it seemed to be the same distance away. The tour was exactly 16 our weeks. It was the shortest tour I did but it seemed like the longest. If the saying “Whatever doesn’t kill you will make you stronger,” is true then it was definitely a character workout. I did get a lot of support from my friends. My best friend Shawn who was touring in Hong Kong, was the best support. The mail was a month behind but we wrote each other every week. We would just get responses to questions every fourth letter. If it wasn’t for mail day, I would never have survived. In the pocket are a few of the postcards I received while I was on tour. I also was able to see Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse (they were still building at the time I believe), the Corn Palace made of corn in Mitchell SD, Walldrug – the first mall in history during the Wild West days in Wall, SD, the mountains in Montana, and while we were performing on the Minot AFB we got a tour of the missile silo. Even the soldier whose family I was staying with said that he’s never been able to go inside. Although it was a hard and VERY COLD tour – I did have some great experiences. I am glad that I endured the tour, but would NEVER, NEVER want to do it again.

Absolutely beautiful layout Taryn! The title is fantastic...wink, wink!! The pocket is a perfect touch and I love that you included the postcards. Great journalling as well...it's easy to journal fun times, but harder to journal not so fun times, but you did it well! Thanks for taking my VSBN challenge!
