What a dreamy challenge you thunk up Cathy! I love all things celestial. There is nothing like being miles and miles away from any light pollution and star gazing as you drift off to sleep, cozy in a sleeping bag.
I immediately thought of this wonderful old illustration which has been translated into a stamp by LaBlanche. Doesn't she look blissful in repose? This was inked with the VersaFine onto white cs and then I cut a mask and overstepped with Stampland's 'Starry Night' bg. Brushos were mixed and sponged onto the stamp. I LOVE the random way it came out. I had to stamp it twice for the size panel.
My little 'shroom' family were inked with the Archival 'Sepia' and then colored with Copics. They are set up above the larger mushrooms on zots. And the sentiment was inked onto a fancy die label. Shimmery cs base...and here she is...dreaming away...
There is no age limit on dreaming nor quantity limits...my grey matter is constantly being renewed with the freshness of dreams...how about YOU?
Thanks so stopping by today...your comments mean so much to me and my art.

How cool, your sentiment panel picks up on the mushroom shapes perfectly. I'm sure I have another card of yours with that starry sky tucked into my favourites, it looks familiar. I love the way you've kept this with just the sepia and night-sky blues, so effective.

U are just simply too much, Ms. Susan. wonderful bg and I love how you created a mask for your image. Gotta love those brushos, too. Wonderfully spirited and creative.

I love the starry night and the sky!! Those mushrooms are wonderful images, and popping up the 'shrooms at the bottom is amazing! I love mushrooms....to eat, to photograph with their beautiful gills, and what hiding places they become in the garden. thanks for posting this fab card with the sentiment!

The stamps on this are magical and perfect for this. But...I just can't get over that sky....I can't stop looking at it..it's like some cosmic explosion.
