For the Alphabet challenge of "G", I tried a stained Glass Technique. Using stamps from the Secret Garden set I embossed black onto vellum. I colored the back side of the vellum using SU markers. When the marker was dry I used the Secret Garden dies to cut the flowers out. I then covered the flowers (top side) with SU Crystal Effects. This caused them to curl a bit (added character and reminded me of Shrinky Dinks; remember those??). After it dried I added some accent pearls. I used the embossing folder on white and attached to Teal card base. The Little leaves die punched from Garden Green were taped on, and the flowers were attached using dimensionals. The grateful sentiment was also popped up on dimensionals.

Wow! Those flowers ar beautifully done. Great technique! This gorgeous card was worth the wait! Absolutely stunning, how your technique made those flowers so shinny and how they stand out against your prettily embossed white panel.

These are beautiful. I am going to have to do this as well! The crystal effects add so much more to this technique. I'm so glad you thought of it and shared it!

This is so fabulous! And I do remember shrinky dinks, lol. (My step son used to have them). I am impressed with all that you have done to make this card. Yes, it was worth the wait, as Sharon says.

Gorgeous indeed! Good card for letter G. Love your flowers. They've got that stained glass look. Into my favs. I need to have a go at this great technique. Beautiful colors. I like how you even used a G color with Garden Green and a G sentiment with Grateful. You rocked this challenge! Great job. TFS

Wow! Those flowers are so super glossy and shiny! They are just gorgeous. I love the depth of colour on them too. What a beautiful contrast with the pure white of the embossed bg.
