Needed a card for our favorite pet sitters so the challenges for primary colors and pets seemed an easy match up with the sketch. But I couldn't get anything to work. All of a sudden I saw my pile of felt. Once the little Scottie was cut out of felt, the rest of the card made itself. I used modeling paste on a piece of real red cardstock through the brick wall EF for the background. Used yellow and blue gellatos to make the tri color water color piece and cut a frame out of vellum and stamped it with night of navy paw prints. Heat embossed the sentiment with real red craft ink and clear EP on a heart cut out of vellum. Added twine. The blue felt Scottie is the sweetie who makes the card pop. The Scottie and the heart are glue dotted to die cut cardstock to make them less flimsy.

Sweet card! I love your primary colours as a backing for the Scottie; he really pops against them! You have a beautiful array of textures on this card but using felt for your pup was genius!
