Julie, I love the design of this card. So many fantastic details. A superb lighthouse image. and a really poignant image of the two people and the boat. they look like they are burdened down with care and the scripture verse addresses that. I love the placement of the verse and the nice crisp white embossing on the black. And you achieved some really cool dimension with that burlap ribbon.

Wonderful composition/collage, Julie. This image reminds me of Horatio Spafford, a prominent lawyer from New York. His wife, Anna, and their four daughters were sailing to England when the ship was hit by another ship and 226 people died, including his 4 daughters. His wife's message: Saved alone. Later Mr. Spafford wrote the song, It Is Well With My Soul.

Wow, look at the layering. I love the embossed background, not sure what it is but it just looks like an old worn paint cracking wall…goes well with the whole feel of the card.
