This card is for today's Technique Challenge to paint your stamps and the Clean and Simple Challenge to glitter our greetings. My DGD was here this weekend stamping with me and this floral set that she had used was still sitting on the table. I thought it would be fun to use this image with my MISTI and try doing the flower first and then the stems so I would get less bleeding from one part of the image into another. Since I don't have any watercolor powders, I used my markers and spritzed with water before stamping. I was struggling a bit trying to figure out how to add the die cut prayers without overwhelming the card. I ended up cutting a scrap piece of watercolor paper and then adding markers to my acrylic block, spritzing with water and pressing the paper into that. I used my Wink of Stella pen to glitter my greeting. I like how it turned out.

Oh did this ever come out incredibly well, Kathy. Looks like a perfect watercolored image. Pretty in those colors too. like the glittered sentiment, too.
