Lately I've been trying to get more creative with my layouts, and this month I fell in love with the rectangle area on the bottom third of the card front - LOL. The fireplace gave me another opportunity to exploit this layout (expect to see a couple over the weekend too). Since fire is red, yellow and a few other shades...I made the tower red, and for the sentiment I used gold ink. I love how it turned out! I think 'black' is the perfect 'white' space too!
Won't you join us and take the challenge of developing a unique card design inspired by an image on this weeks Inspiration site? I know you'll come up with something that's beautiful and fun to make! (It's an amazingly fun process!)
Hugs,
Audrie

That is one fantastic image! The bottom third of the card only just highlights your image all the more. I love it!!! As always, your calligraphy is something to be admired and coveted! Beautiful!

I luv that the Eiffel tower is red - a pop of color, Audrie. The fact that you used black instead of white really gives it that extra visual appeal. Beautiful - saved to CASE later.

Oh my, Audrie, I love this card! It is absolutely magnificent! I love the black textured card stock with the rectangle window that spotlights the beautiful scene representing the fire in your inspiration piece!
