Hello everyone, its been awhile since I have played along in a color challenge.
I made this card to send to a old neighbor friend in California who's mom passed away. It is so sad, and has been on my mind for many days now. Funeral was last Saturday, we couldn't attend, so sent flowers. Now we will be sending each of the children and her husband a card. She was a dear sweet lady, and I feel so bad for the family.
Ok I have to admit, I had a really HARD time finding that color of purple, and I spent more time trying to find papers than I did making the card....hehehehe so I went with what I had....LOL
Sentiment is from HC and I thought it was perfect for this one. Flowers were cut with Rose Creation dies, and then airbrushed and distressed.

Beautiful card with a Victorian look with the muted colors, flowers and symmetrical layout. Your scallop machine stitching has become a signature of your cards....and it it beautifully and precisely done.

What a beautiful sympathy card! It's so hard to make a lovely card when one is feeling so sad, but you did it. I especially like all that scalloped edge stitching, and of course the sentiment is wonderful!
