I made this card for the alphabet challenge, Letter E, and for an upcoming wedding. I went through several galleries, and really liked how Kathie used purple. Although she used concord crush, I was inspired, and changed it to elegant eggplant. This was a color I had bought and still had not used. Thanks Kathie for inspiring me to open up my card stock! E is for elegant eggplant and evening. More details can be found on my blog at: https://www.merlascraftycorner.com/2...ey-begins.html Thanks for Looking!

love this!...Funny you just opened your package of E.E. too. I did the same. Have had it for ages, but opened it the other day in prep for my e card.
Love your sponging on this card too.

I've said it before, you are a sponge master! My sponging tends to look blotchy sometimes, your always looks perfect. It really feels like twilight in this scene, well done! This is perfect for a wedding card, "The Journey Begins", so true of a newly married couple. Like Ina said, you really do feel the emotion in the picture.
