Here is my card for today's technique challenge TLC573 - revisiting emboss resist and yesterday's featured stamper challenge - FS471 - Michele G.
Here is Michele's card that inspired mePenny Black Saturday Challenge
I used a single flower and instead of a photo corner in the right upper portion, I used a circle instead (sun)
I changed up the layout a little. Omitted the ribbon and placed my sentiment over to the right.
I Stamped the flower with versa mark ink onto water colour paper and embossed with white embossing powder. Water coloured the flower with Tombow markers. Cut out the flower.
I had different pieces of green polished stone papers that I created a few years ago. I cut out four strips and cut them to make into the ground design. I created the base card and Sewed around panel. Stamped on the sentiment with Vintage Sepia ink. Popped up the flower. Added the sun to the upper right corner. Added stickles to the flower centre.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Pat

What a stunning case of my card, I love the scene you've created with your polished stone grass and the sun. Thank you so much for taking the time to look through my gallery. It was such a lovely surprise to hear that I was this weeks FS XX

Wow! That is gorgeous watercolouring! I love the look with the white embossed resist. The contrast makes the colours glow! Great little scene you have built around your flower. Super card!
