I have this huge roll of duct foil tape from the hard ware store which I know is going to last a life time. I was so happy to see today's challenge, it's a great reason to pull it out.
The foil tape is sticky on one side so is attached to card stock and once stuck there's no removing it. Don't worry about bumps when you stick it down, you can rub those out with your bone folder.
Once taped I trimmed the card stock and put it through my embossing folder. So easy and such a cool shiny effect. The stamp is from GCS art stamps which I stamped with versamark and used silver embossing powder. I'm always short of masculine cards, so I may do a few more of these for my stash.
By the way living in Vancouver British Columbia I have a few pieces of native art and couldn't resist a few stamps.

It's great when we can use some of our supplies that are stashed away. The dry embossing looks great as does your cool focal image.

I so love putting foil tape on my cards and this is so wonderfully done! It is such a super fun element and cost so much less than many of our other craft supplies. Shhh don't tell the hardware stores we are using them for cards...the cost will sky rocket. Giggles!!!

Fabulous card! I only have foil tape rather than the silver duct, but it too takes embossing really well. The amount of dimension your background is quite amazing, it makes me want to reach into the screen and feel it. And it's a perfect setting for the simple silver image; as you say, a great masculine card.

This is absolutely amazing. I looked at it for the longest time trying to figure out what you did, before reading your details. Brilliant. I'm in the Shuswap, btw!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?

I am a fan of native art and LOVE this! I've used a whole roll of that tape already and went for more. It's addictive and I love the effect you achieved with that wonder folder! Beautifully done!
