Covered white card with Tan cs then embossed the card using Swiss Dots for texture. (To get roses, you need a few bumps!) Using Joy Craft die I cut and embossed the brown suede sheet and set it up for the focal point. Stamped he sentiment with Black Memory box ink onto tan & white die cut oval, covered the pigment ink with WOW Black embossing powder and heat set to provide a finished look to the sentiment. Tried placing the sentiment in several places , finally settling on lower right corner Considered using another fancy die but it took away from the flower. To balance the card I placed 3 creme pearls on the lower left. This creates a triangle of images on the card making it easier for your eye to flow around the card. For a little more sparkle I put rhinestones on the sentiment.

Awesome card, Joan! The textures are great, I could see it, even though I hadn't read the description yet. Balance is very nice, and I'm glad you have joined us for this week's challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such.
