It happened again! I gasped and my little heart went pitter patter when I saw this Beautiful hand marbled paper on the Paper Mojo website. And, then I scrolled down a little more and Oh My, it was all over, I was hooked. You can buy 5" x 8" samples of most of their papers so you can try before you buy the larger sheets. Nice deal! I got my sample of this beautiful paper in the mail last week along with several other samples. I sat and looked at this paper and looked at it, and looked at it.....and said to myself, what can I DO with this paper so I don't obscure the real beauty of the paper (the colors are much richer in real life). Nothing...said I. Too much brain strain. Kept looking at it for about a week and decided to do what I usually do when these decisions plague me....I put a bird on it. And used one of my favorite bamboo dies by Memory Box to give it a little pizzazz. Easy peasy, simple dimple. Anyway, it's done. Thanks for looking...and listening.
Edit: I can see that I have obviously tucked my bird into the wrong CAS Challenge. But, I guess I could really stretch it and say he IS a sweet bird. This is my second attempt at a challenge. Next time, hopefully, I'll know what I'm doing.

Holy smokes ... just read your pm and here you are. Love that paper, too. Of course you must know I love that die. That and your bird. This just shouts who you are. Good things are worth waiting, so I am content now that you've uploaded another gorgeous creation. SCS has a CAS challenge every week. Since your style is so very CAS, you might like to check those out so you can showcase your art to a greater number of people. Glad things are settling down. Hugs anne.

It was worth the wait!!!! Hello Miss Ellen, it is terrific to see you here. The paper is gorgeous, but YOU brought it to life with a great choice of die-cuts. Did you miss the memo when I said not to use stuff I don't have......how is a girl supposed to curb her craft purchases when you introduce me to new goodies. I would love to stay and chat, but I need to go shopping for that bird die (I already have the bamboo). Hugs to you and Ernie. xxx
