Welcome to the January Color Challenge (CC567). I would like to say thank you to the Color Challenge Team for inviting me to share my take on the January color choices. I hope you've enjoyed playing along too.
This week our colors are: Strawberry Slush, Mint Macaron, and Early Expresso with the dessert option: A valentine using these non traditional colors. Who can resist creating a valentine - not me (she smiles). I used the dessert option.
Using the Simon Says Stamp set, Roses for You, I've created several cards, all on the clean and simple side with this weeks colors. Today's card uses Early Expresso on the tips of the arrows, Mint Macaron on the arrow feathers and the rhinestone elements, and of course, Strawberry Slush on the hearts. I added a light grey in the background. The colors are not exact but close. Copic colors: RV13, RV14, G12,G21, E71,77 and N1 I've also added a little white gel pen for more interest on the hearts, and a wink of stella for some shine.
Inside sentiment: You Have My Heart
Hope to see you playing along this week.

I LOVE this card! You've taken a relatively simple stamp set and turned it into a work of art! I love the way you used the colors, and especially the white gel pen dots. Thanks so much for being on the team this month as a Guest Designer. We've loved all your creations!

I love this, Susie! So fun with the hearts randomly arranged to cover the whole card front - very eye-catching! Thanks for being a great guest designer this month, I have really enjoyed your cards and all the nice comments you write on people's cards (mine included!)
