My mom is going to Australia, so I decided to make her open when cards like I made the girls for camp. I took the WT566 challenge of our little corner of the world to remind her she left winter behind. So here is a Boston skyline frosted in snow.

What a great idea, she should really enjoy seeing the cold city as she is enjoying her vacation. Love the contrast of the skyline and the white snow. Thanks for sharing.

I had to laugh at this one! My DH and I were born and raised in Southbridge, left the area at ages 18 & 20 (so that's a very long time ago), and can totally remember all the snowstorms and blizzards we used to get! Building an igloo, sledding and ice skating were all fun winter past times! Beautiful city scape scene laden with puffy snow~

What a lovely idea...and card. I'd say it wouldn't take many days of the current Australian heat before your mum would love a cold snow day! Your snow looks just great.

Great depiction! Brrr is right - especially last year! Remembering the snow farms where the dumped all that was taken from Boston and still melting months later. Maybe this will help keep Mom cool while she's down under.
