Today our challenge is to make a card representative of " Our Little Corner of the World". We live on Cape Cod which is surrounded on all four sides by water and connected to the mainland with two bridges. There are 17 lighthouses and more than 400 miles of beautiful beaches.
I did a Brushos water color piece, then placed it behind the die cut waves. Die cut some bubbles and the sentiment out of the same piece. Assembled the pieces and matted on blue then a white base.
Note: Most of the fish off Cape Cod are silver, grey, black, brown - dull colors, but there is a 2-tone green and there are bluefish (not this shade though).

17 lighthouses, wow!! What a wonderful card, Priscilla. Brings back childhood memories of hours spent playing by the rockpools, with the starfish and green seaweed - but we never had such beautiful fish.

Absolutely stunning card and wonderful job with the Brushos. Some day I would love to take a trip back to that area. I went there as a kid and really don't remember much of the trip other than the stunning light houses and peaceful water. Thank you for taking us to a corner on your map with this stunning card.

Priscilla, you do live in a beautiful place....I love how everything stayed the same, and all the amazing colonial architecture. When visiting it for a short time, I know why people come from the big cities to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Your card is awesome....love the waves. Thanks for sharing your beautiful corner of the world.

SO fun, Priscilla! I love the waves, and those adorable fish - so happy to be in their corner of the world. The bubbles are darling!

Wow, so much to enjoy on this card, with the fab colors, beautiful fish and those lovely waves. Cape Cod is high on my list of places I'd like to visit.

I have a funny story for you about the lovely Cape.....a friend who teaches Earth Science overheard a young student ask another why the "island" of Cape Cod doesn't float away. The answer the other kid gave...the bridges hold it in place! The Cape is indeed beautiful........all year 'round. A little bleak in Winter, but a different appeal all its own. Most of us would like to live there! Nicely done card.
