Michigan is known as the Great Lakes State so I depicted Lake Michigan on my card and made it a birthday card. I watercolored my image. Love the challenge today, Linda! TFL.

Very stunning card to represent Lake Michigan. I was thinking I might go with a late as well since Chicago is also on the lake but yours turned out much better than mine would have. Fantastic job with the water coloring. Thank you for taking us to your small corner on the map.

Sharon, this is very pretty with your coloring, and it looks like the lake....we don't have land, but water separating us. Our weather is influenced by the lake big time. We have cooler summers because of the lake breezes. Thanks for sharing your corner of the world with us today.

Sharon, that's how I think of Lake Michigan. What a beautiful scene you created for this birthday card!

WOW, this is beautiful Sharon!! You should do free hand painting more often. MI is such a nice state. I took a fun trip to Saugatuck with some friends a while back.
