This week's challenge is all about our little corner of the world. I thought it would be fun and interesting to have a challenge to depict where we live. I live in the state of Wisconsin. It is located at the northeast or shoreline of Lake Michigan. The small county is named Kewaunee. The early settlers were from many nationalities....the surrounding areas names represents this well. If I take a 20 mile radius of my home, you can find places like Denmark, Cooperstown, Brussels, Luxemburg, Poland and Pilsen. Our county was made up of many farmers.....our state is known as America's Dairyland. Our county is small and rural...there is one stoplight and 30,000 cows. Just 20 miles north is the city of Green Bay...home of the professional football team...The Green Bay Packers. They are a big part of what we do on Sunday during the season. We are known for very good cheese, beer, cranberries, cherries, bratwurst, and small wineries. If you are wondering why my hearts are green...the Packer colors are green and gold. TFL, and I hope you can play in the challenge and have fun

This card is pure fun, Linda and I just love that it's hand painted! Love it! I've had the luxury of pedaling a bicycle through Wisconsin and yep, the very best in the USA in hospitality and cheese!

I was reading your post to my husband, so cute!! My dad came from Wisconsin. I guess a community of Norwegians and Germans (he was half and half). So fun reading about your county.
Very fun card! Love the cows! BTW, I love the Packers too!

Thanks for the glimpse into the history of your corner of the world - my knowledge base is a little richer this morning! One stop light ... I'm still smiling! Your cows are adorable, and I think your card should be the next logo for the team!

Linda I am not far from Wisconsin and have yet to go up for a visit. If ever I get a free day I so would love to come up and see Wisconsin. One light...now that is a tiny town. I can only imagine all the lakes and seeing all these cows out and about. Super stunning card. Thank you for such an excellent challenge. Hugs!!!!
