I really wanted to create a card for the CAS359 challenge and so I used the IC527 site as the source of my inspiration. (I will often browse scenic photos for card design inspiration.)
My vision was to achieve a rough snowy surface (thinking also of F4A307) without adding layers to the card. To be honest, I wanted this to be a single layer card. However I struggled to get the right degree of contrast, and I wanted to be able to write something inside the card too. So I used Vellum as a backing to my window. I created the window using a rectangle stitch die only on 3 sides so that the bottom edge could look more like snow, and adhered an almost identical size stamped vellum sheet on the back of it.
I had loads of fun with this, and I think this is the first time I ever used 3 SCS keywords on a card - YAY!
Thank you for looking!
Hugs,
Audrie

Oh, what a wonderful idea to use the vellum behind to add depth and contrast, Audrie. And I love the top of the tree die - it's stunning! I've only done one "triple play" myself and was quite pleased. Congrats on that one, and you aced them all! Hugs!
