CONGRATS to Gunilla, our new FS! Love her style, stamps, coloring. Terrific gallery! I was inspired by this pink snowman card. I emb snowflakes instead of dots for my bkgrd, and also emb hearts for my snow mounds. I used a different snowman and a die cut greeting. I added PPP sequins and used Ranger spun sugar to distress the MFT stitched panel. I added lots of sparkly glitter to the snowflake bkgrd and heart snow mounds but no matter how many times I scanned my card, I could not get the sparkle to show. Drats! My card was also inspired by pins on the wonderful Winter White board Audrie took us to for yesterday's IC527. This picture of a woman, joyfully throwing snow up into the air, reminded me of my new snowman stamp. I made my card in pinks in remembrance of Leslie Hanna. She created the SOS challenge that I sometimes participate in. She unexpectedly and suddenly passed away on December 25, 2015. I'm glad the family has given their blessing to continue the SOS challenge. From all the tributes I have read, such as this one, it is very evident that she was loved and will be greatly missed. Here is another picture of a snow heart that made me think of how much I love snow and how much my snowman does, too. Hence, the emb hearts snow mounds.
I make an effort to buy at least one new snowman stamp every winter. This is one of two I bought last Dec. It's by Impression Obsession and I adore it! The inside sentiment is another IO I bought in Dec and I like it a lot, too. It reads:
Do whatever makes your heart happy.

Fun card. Love the joyful pink and the happy, upside down snowman. This card would surely bring a smile to the recipient. The embossed backgrounds add a lovely touch. Great job! TFS
