One of my personal aims (let's not call it as strong as a resolution) is to use up more the of rejected backgrounds in my "spares" box, and this is one. A bonus for the challenge theme. It was created using the Embossing Folder stamping tutorial, with watercolour paper and Twinkling H2Os.
I cut an aperture in the centre, and layered the sentiment panel behind it. It's edged with narrow double-sided tape and silver glitter, and then , this is my real contribution to Toni's challenge, I used up some old, old non self-adhesive bling to make a frame around the oval aperture. The die-cut word was cut from thin card with a layer of double-sided tape, and I burnished the glitter onto it.

Pretty card! I like the distressed, bold bkgrd (great technique to achieve that) with the bling. Terrific colors and I always like your glitter edges and/or details. Great way to use up (lose weight) via some of your gems and stash of bkgrds.

Sabrina this is so glamorous and has so much glitz. I love coordinating floral gems that pick up the colors of the gems surrounding your wonderful sentiment. I am like you, I have a few pieces of already decorated sheets that I should use up too in my stash.

Wonderful design on this card. The sparkling sentiment and glitter frame looks terrific. The bling is so festive and fun. Your "reject" bg is perfect. Beautiful card.

Beautiful, Sabrina! Love your blingy frame and the background. Those rejected backgrounds come in handy for gorgeous repurposed projects like this one!

I have those same non-adhesive gems.....boy you have inspired me to use them up! I love how they look framing your sentiment. You have also given me the idea of keeping my 'not usable' backgrounds that I make instead of throwing them in 'file 13'! Thanks so much for the ideas! Love your card!

Sure love the "bling" on your card!! I also thought about creating a card to use up some of my old bling but just can't seen to part with it. I've had it so long it is not even in style any longer...that's what I get for hoarding I guess lol!!
