This is for two challenges. First one is the Featured Stamper Challenge for Kathy LeDonne. Her gallery really appealed to me as we have a lot of the same stamp sets. It was easy to find many choices. Recently, our DD moved out of the house into her first apartment. She decorated her kitchen with sunflowers. I have wanted to make her a sunflower card. When I saw this sunflower card of Kathy's, I knew it was the one to use! I really liked it and I haven't used this stamp set in ages.
Like Kathy, I stamped the flowers & leaves and then filled in with chalks. I did change some of the colors, went with a CAS design with only one sunflower, rounded the corners and changed the sentiment. Thanks Kathy for the inspiration! The Second is the TLC Challenge to make an impression with something other than a stamp. I used a new pencil eraser to help make the flower center. It's a fun thing to use for stamping, but I do forget about it. Thanks for the reminder! Fun challenges. TFL

The pencil eraser made a perfect center for that cheerful sunflower. The little ladybug is the perfect touch! My daughter's first kitchen was decorated with a sunflower theme : )
