Joan gave us a very interesting Technique Lovers Challenge today: use something other than a stamp to stamp. She urged us to go through our kitchen drawers, in the garage, on the Christmas tree and find something to use. I looked through my kitchen "junk drawer" (we all have one of those, right?) and found an aluminum can cover that hadn't seen the light of day in many years. BUT . . . it had two circles I thought I might use to make a background. To ensure that my mat was the same shade of blue as the circles, I rubbed the inkpad around the edge of it -- and also rubbed it on a scrap piece of card stock to cut out the sentiment.

Great scrounging in the kitchen junk drawer (yes we have one of those that's where I found my 'stamps', too). Your double circles are a fun background for your Happy sentiment.

Great card. Love the circles for the background. You found a fabulous thing to stamp with, in that junk drawer that we all have. I like the double matted, die-cut Happy Birthday. The pop of red on that and the sequins add just the right touch. Wonderfully done. TFS
