I made this on Thursday but my DD took my camera disk to play with her new camera. I just got it back and she had taken a picture of my card too - and I love how it came out (boy do I need a new camera).
Everyting on this card other than the berries started out white. Stamped the card base and the next layer the DRS woodgrain BG stamp and sponged them. Then stamped the Stampendous Christmas Truck image and colored it. Then stamped the DRS Designs Oval Stained Glass image over that and cut it out. Then did multi-layers of Versamark and EP until it would crack. Cut out some foliage and sponged it.
Sad to say I only sent one Christmas card this year because all my cards went to a cause and I had such limited time between new Grandbabies and a Giant project at work. I plan to make amends to all those sweet people who did send me wonderful and very beautiful cards - I promise!!
I am starting my Christmas card stash early this year due to extreme embarrassment this year.
Love, love this technique!!!

Gorgeous, Nancy. I love this crackled look with the old truck. For sure, we all know those grandbabies come before anything....no reason to worry.

Truly gorgeous, Nancy. Your cracked glass is the best I have seen and goes SO well with your subject of the old pick-up truck. Love the richness of your colors and added details. Your DD took a great picture!

Lots of different layers to gaze at. Incredible how everything started out white and with your inspiration turned into a wonderful card with lots of texture.

WOW sis! This is one of my favorite of your; but, then, that's hard to say because all your cards have so much distinction and creativity. I am in love with the cracked glass technique. It worked perfectly with your card. Love the added details too. Hey, grandbabies come before sending out cards in my opinion. At least you can take me off the list because I barely sent any cards out to my SCS friends either. I wasn't able to make enough. I hope you had a great holiday and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
