This is my first project for the Share Joy Challenge. I tried a technique from Club Scrap: http://clubscrap.com/double-emboss-technique/.
I embossed white cardstock, heat embossed the raised portion, and colored the background with the watercolor pens. After the paper dried, I die cut the butterfly from the embossed and colored paper. The aqua colored paper is some I had from my stash, as is the green vellum. http://sharejoychallenge.blogspot.com/

Oh, how exciting that you've decided to jump in for the Share Joy Challenge! I have been tempted but have been so busy. But what a great card for this challenge. Hugs!
