I had forgotten just how much I loved this technique. Thanks for the challenge. I stamped the Petal Prints (2005) image on poster board using the watercolour technique and after the Utee dried I lined the edges with my Krylon gold leaf pen and added the gold filament thread...can you say 'SPARKLY'!!! The greeting is from a Sizzix step card die set. I also used the Tattered Lace embossing folder for the first time to-day. Something old...something new!!

You got a terrific look with the cracked glass!! Your flower is pretty. I also like the way you used the silver cord around your image panel. Happy New Year to you!!

Sue, love the soft water color flower you used...lovely for this technique. The added gold border makes it look even more rich. Great take on the challenge. Thanks for gracing the gallery. Happy New Year.

You achieved fabulous results with the cracked glass technique. I love your image and the gold edging. (Yes, I've been in a pink color mode lately too). Happy New Year to you!

Ah Sue, you did a bang up job with this! It is a fun technique and the result give such a vintage look. Combined with the white of a CAS card and the embossing and die cut you have married vintage and contemporary in the fabulous card!

Lovely b'day card, Sue. Your cracked glass panel is beautiful with your watercolor-like flower and gold edging. Pretty choice of EF to complete your card. Happy 2016 to you!

I love the cracked glass on that image, it looks like a flower was pressed to preserve the image then you saved it with the cracked glass technique. Wonderfully done.
