The sketch for today had a tag as panel #2, but I created my bouquet in newspaper in its place. Also, instead of having a thin line of #4, I used a fancy edging on my vellum panel #3....I figured I had enough going on without adding another strong diagonal element. The tulips were stamped on watercolor paper then colored with reinkers and an aqua brush....ala watercolor technique....then die cut. Laurie over on PTI's "Make-it-Monday" had a neat trick in her tutorial.

Oh, How Pretty, Sallie! You create the BEST looking flowers....I'm going with that being your forte! ; ) Love the way you brought some of the pink shade onto your leaves and leaving the white spaces on your petals makes your tulips literally Shine! Cute little heart attached to your piece of twine showing your affection! Your bg is Stupendous....very nicely done without taking away from the main attraction~ Happy New Year, Sallie!

You are truly a master at watercolors. Watercolors have always been my favorite medium although I have never mastered it. You just do wonders with it and these tulips are no exception.
