Happy Monday everyone. Here is my card for todays CAS challenge Wheel of Life
My birthday is June 5th - my wheel of life colours are Olive, Green and Yellow.
I received this beautiful Verve Stamp set as one of the prizes from the "Hope you can cling to" challenge.
I stamped the flower image twice. I coloured the stamp image with stamping up and tombow markers and spritzed the stamp with water and then stamped onto watercolour paper. I coloured in the image a little more with the markers. I did add the leaves to the flower stems. The little butterfly is from a Studio G stamp set. I stamped on the sentiment using memento black ink. Added the grass along the bottom - used a Tombow green marker. Added the mini pearls to the butterfly. Matted image panel with black and yellow card stock. Stitched around edges.
Thanks for looking.
Hugs. Pat

It's always fun to use new stuff, and I had fun using one of my prize items too. Love these cheerful flowers and your stitched edges are always awesome.

It's hard to get beyond your trademark stitching, I love it so, Patricia. But that quote is just lovely. Nicely done to have us recall those walking barefoot on green grass and smelling the flowers. Wonderful.
Happy New Year to you
