I reached for lighter Winter Scene Colors...could it be because we have had non stop rain for 24 days! We at least passed an all time record for December in our area...SW Oregon/Coos Bay/North Bend. We are now over 26"..yes, 26" and the month is not over. The forever record was 24". Still would rather have rain than snow :-)
I Heat EB my trees, then sponged my background. Then Heat EB all around the edge of my scene for a snowy frame. Love the effect. My 1st time to try the technique.
Merry Christmas to all my friends at SCS and I want to thank everyone who has looked and/or commented on my posts this past year :-) You are all so talented and special.
I appreciate your kindness so much :-) Wishing you all a very Happy, Healthy and Creative New Year to you and your loved ones.
Big Hugs, Nancy
My card is for several challenges...of course :-)

Those cool winter colours are so beautiful. I'm sorry you've had so much rain!! I know what that's like, with dull grey skies. You've certainly provided light and loveliness here.

I keep seeing that stamp and lusting after it! I might just have to break down and buy it! Love your light colours - it's been pretty grey up here in Vancouver too, though not nearly that much rain. The spotted dp goes perfectly with the image!
