It was also inspired by the many soldiers I hope will be coming home for the holidays....it makes me smile to think that at least some of them might be reunited with their families again.

What a great card! You really captured a vintage postcard feel to this...love that you highlighted little bits of red. What a wonderful combination of both your inspiration buttons. And your wish for all the returning soldiers is touching ( I know I get choked up whenever I see those returning soldiers surprising loved ones on the news). Just lovely!

This would be a wonderful card for a guy! Luv the small touches of red. Checked out the full size version and luvin' that one too - great frame. Thanks for picking Polly to help out this week - wonderful inspiration site.

I really like your title, Audrie! Beautifully stamped onto that textured cs! I have to admit to you, this made me cry because my DH was at sea on an Aircraft Carrier for 2 Christmases. The first was our oldest son's first Christmas (yes, I gave birth while he was away) and the second was after all three of our children were born. So very hard for the men and women serving abroad, but also hard on the loved ones back home~ Have a Blessed Christmas, Audrie!
