It's hard to resist a dance, don't you agree? And so I bring you my woman, dancing across my card...she's in the process of becoming and practice makes perfect!
The Gumbo Graphic woman was inked three times and off stamped twice. She moves from Tuxedo Black, Smokey Gray, then off stamped and finally a Silver Pearl embossed image as she dances off the page. I added the sentiment over the shadow images and trimmed the edge with a pretty velvet leaf and silver netting. The bottom scrap foil was copper and I embossed it with Silver Pearl powder.
I love the metaphor of dance for life. We can choose to sit out this dance, pair up with a partner, or as in the case of my woman, abandon what others think of her and leap across the stage of life! What's yOuR favorite dance, I want to hear.
Thanks so much for your comments. And to tessaduck, who patiently teaches me the finer details of 'ducks in a row'!!!

Enjoyed reading your description and comments, Susan. Love your card. It's unique with a wonderful quote. You asked what our favorite dance is - I adore watching ballet. As far as dancing myself, I only do it in private, though in my late twenties, a boyfriend and I became fairly good at square dancing.

great card Susan with a great meaning behind it....love the motion and the theme of moving on...so often it is hard for us to do that in life but getting better at it means to carry on...especially with out attitude!

Excellent pairing of image and sentiment! I'm a "your opinion of me is none of my business" dancer, since you asked! My approach to pretty much everything... Lovely card!
