This is for ICC522, Vera Bradley. Great inspiration website! I was inspired by THIS combo of floral and gingham. Not too much to say about it, except that I have to thank my MISTI for allowing me to get that girl stamped on uncoated colored card stock so well. Lots of solid black there and much detail (there's a butterfly behind the DP butterfly that's very detailed) and that BG stamp (IO Ornate Floral) also would never have been so crisp if I'd used my usual method (card stock flipped on top of inked stamp and pressed down). I'm not one of those who pulls out my MISTI for everything - I love stamping with blocks - but there are certain things it does that nothing else can do, and so it was a well-worthwhile purchase for me.
I worked on this one for too long and would do some things differently if I did it over, but it turned out okay. There will be someone perfect to send it to.
TFL!

I think the balance in this, with the lacy die-cuts and butterfly and then the three sequins (I find it SO hard to use them), is just perfect. The stamped background looks amazing and so in keeping with your pensive vintage lady.

This is definitely a Vera inspired design! I love how you added the patterned paper heart and butterfly to highlight your woman image. What a great image btw....and am I the only stamper who doesn't have a MISTI?? Fab card Robin!!!

Lovely card, I like your layout and trimming the image to look like a photo. I have that image too and the MISTI is the only way to get a decent stamp!!
