My card for DEC15VSNN - Batik for the country Indonesia. I used the acrylic batik technique for my background. The brads are punched circles of cardstock.

Melody, your embossing looks like icing on a cake ~ it's so beautiful on this card. Love the Indonesian theme with the non-colored image and that crochet thread. Perfect for this challenge.

I really like the texture of the stitching in the corner. Terrific use of subtle colors in the acrylic background and the pop of turquoise and yellow peeking out.

I am so impressed with how your acrylic batik turned out. The first time I tried it, it was such a disaster that I just used it for punching and die-cutting...and the second time wasn't much better. You inspire me to tri again.
