This is a card I have made for a Special Friend for Christmas. They will enjoy the warmth from the fire place as they will be in the deep freeze (Canada) for Christmas.
The image is coloured with Derwent water colour pencils and highlight with a gell glitter pen.
The little poinsettia die came free with a magazine and it is a nice die - and cuts so well. I will have to make more use of it.
Hope you enjoy.

Oh how sweet this scene! Love the cozy fire in the fireplace (we have ours going now!!) and the matching arm chair with rug (with the kitty sleeping on it of course). This is such a warm and friendly Christmas greeting for your friend! Love the colors!!

Wow Helen, what a beautiful Christmas scene. This looks like a gorgeous page from a vintage Christams book. Your pencil colouring looks fabulous. Love it all my friend.

Oh, sweet Helen, look at this charming and cozy Christmas scene! It's gorgeous, and your coloring is lovely (and must be prettier IRL with the glimmer you've added). It's beautifully made with the sweet poinsettia and lovely framing. It's wonderful to see another one of your beauties! Hugs, sweet friend!

What an inviting little scene you have crafted Helen! I love your multiple layers of framing and that charming poinsettia! We put in a gas fireplace insert this fall and we have barely had any temperatures below zero yet! Your crackling fire really warms the heart!
