Hey dear SCS friends, I send you all Autumn Blessings.
I couldn't resist giving this pop-up card a try. A huge thanks to Sabrina and Vicky with your delightful examples. This is my folded angle of the card. I love you can decorate the bottom and have it be eye catching!
I've been slowly getting my hands inky and all the months of pent up ideas flowing. I used the Tim Holtz Alterations Embossing Folder on watercolor paper. I applied a layer of Gesso and then used a combination of Gelatos and Tim Distress Ink to color the words. Then I cut parts of the words out, embossing with UTEE. Drug out the paper crimper to add texture to several of the panels. The star of my card is the beautiful Japanese Maple that I FUSSY cut and then embossed lightly to protect all the indents of the leaf.
Thanks so much for stopping by for a closer look. I wish you a glorious season.

You are back!!! Are you the clever one - I never gave any thought to decorating the bottom. When it's pulled out of the envelope, flat, there's something extra to enjoy - brilliant!

How fortunate for us to see the result of your pent up creativity, Joy. This sounds like it took an enormous amount of time to pull together, but your end result is a stunningly rustic creation. Good to see you in the gallery.
