The challenge was to include FOOD. Around this house we can always include food. This was very fitting as our apple trees were VERY generous this year and DH and I have been making pies for the freezer and to give away since the first apple. He is a contractor and Monday I had to deliver pies to a jobsite for all the construction workers. I got there just in time for lunch and told our foreman that he was the host. I believe they were well taken. He delivered empty, washed pans to the office the next morning.
I counted the pies in the freezer today and without digging, I counted 24. I think I have decided to be done.
My card is another combination of things found in the craft room. I stamped the bg on first and then added the rest. The punched leaf and grateful die are both RAKs from gabalot. Thanks so much, Gabby. I like how it turned out and hope you do too.

This is really a fantastic card with all the vintage elements. The image, doily and pretty leaf add all the things about a warm and inviting home. Your story is amazing. Those apple pies are going to be so tasty during the cold winter months. TFS
