This is my card for today's CCEE Stampers challenge. Frances tells us that tomorrow is Universal Children's Day, and asks us to create a card featuring a child having fun in some way. I had to search my stamp collection - initially I could only think of Snoopy and Rerun playing cards, but I managed to find this old SU set.
.
Winter Play, stamped on Bristol Board, coloured with Polychromos. Sky sponged in, Snowtex for foreground, watercolour snow spatters, and edged with Stickles.
Base - Torn strip ofBoBunny Altitude for the foreground, also cut with Frostyville Border and laid on top. Behind this, I stamped Lovely as a Tree in silver, embossed with Heat and Stick powder and added green glitter. (It was meant to be stamped in silver and embossed with Iridescent Ice, but I took the wrong powder out of the box). Re-inker spray and Brusho for the sky. Edged with white acrylic paint.
Will fill in details after work).

I was 53 years old before I experienced my first white Christmas. We rarely see snow on the Texas Gulf Coast and never enough to have this kind of fun! I love your fabulous trees and slopes of snow, Sabrina! Beautiful work with the sky and die cut snowflakes!

Great take on the challenge. Like how you did your edge with the stickles, and the snowflake border on the bottom. Sweet card. You actually made snow look inviting. TFS
