Hello, sweet friends! Two cards this month - wow! That's good for me! I think I am starting to feel better, so I am grateful that this new medication is starting to work! Well, one thing that helps me keep going is getting to play with the Power Poppy digis, and what a fun one for the brand new Instant Garden release. It sure had me singing the "Twelve Days of Christmas" and getting into the Christmas spirit. I used the main image without the words on the little teapot, and colored it up allowing room for the sentiment from a clear Christmas stamp (Cozy Cupfuls). After coloring the image, it just seemed to be missing something, so I decided to use BG70 to color in the background while it was still in the die. (I saw some beautiful images that were artwork that inspired me to add a background color.) I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment, used my gold Krylon pen to gild the edges, matted it with a small scalloped red border, and adhered it to the white card base. And, voila, it was done. This will be an easy card to mail (one stamp), and I will make more of these. I will definitely enjoy making more cards with this set and will enjoy using some of the other sentiments and other main image.
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a great day. Stop by my blog for more details. Hugs!

Such a lovely card, Cheryl! This is a wonderful digi and you colored it so beautifully. I really like how you enhanced the card with the scalloped border and gilded edge. I hope today is a good day!

So good to see another one of your beautiful cards in the gallery. They are always just so special. This one is beautifully coloured - specially that lovely blue background. It is also so nicely framed with the stitched edge and the touch of red in the scalloped border. Very glad to hear that you are feeling better too.

Oh Cheryl I didn't know you haven't been feeling well! Please know you're always in my thoughts and prayers. I'm glad to hear the med is helping you. It's always so good hearing from you and seeing your beautiful creations. I'm so in awe by these golden pears and your partridge color is incredible! I find coloring feathers creatures very difficult but you made this look quite easy as always 😊. Thanks for another stunning inspiration Cheryl and it is good seeing another card from you this month. Wishing you a lovely week and speedy recovery.
Hugs, Christina
