Used an old Stampendous stamp that put down the entire image. I came back in with white acrylic to paint the scene and holly cluster. Toothbrush snow, a little color distressing at the corners and touches of silver paint to finish it.

Great idea to let the stamp do the work. This is very clever. Thanks for the inspiration....it really would be a great Christmas card that could be mass produced. Adding the white acrylic paint gives it the added wow touch.

This is brilliant, Sallie! I have this stamp and would never have thought to do this! LOVE the results, the cold, winter sky with fresh falling snow! Just gorgeous!

Let me echo Nancy - I have this stamp, too, and this is brilliant and beautiful!

Sallie, this is beautiful! I love the seamless way you painted in the white just enough to highlight and mimic moonlight. Love the splatters too. That is one fantastic stamp. I bought mine a year or so after it came out and I think Michaels thought it was out of date and put up for sale at $5.00. This year I have seen it at $25.95
