For this week's TLC559 CASE in Point, Judy has asked us to choose a technique and a card.
I chose the Latch Card, which I missed for the very good reason that I was on holidays and Judy and I had swapped our hostess days.
CASEing, I'm sorry, I'm terrible, it's something I just can't do. But what I decided to do was go to my favourites and find a card there, and then go down the technique route. So...I had THIS lovely card by belinda12 in my Favourites, and while my card bears no resemblance to hers, it was the inspiration behind making a latch card.
I followed the tutorial, using an image I had coloured for my November commitment to USEIT2015. Because the flamingo is looking down, I decided to add a little frog as my latch. And I added the sentiment because I think the frog looks afraid that he is dinner. I would have liked to use Bon Appetit, but then I don't think I could have used the card ;-).
And this brought back memories of a holiday in Greece when we had the treat of seeing (and hearing) a whole flock of wild flamingos. I was bummed that, because we were on a motorbike and had travelled a long way and I didn't want a load of weight in my backpack, I didn't have my longest zoom lens; but I still have a few photos HERE.

Sabrina it's such a fun card, I love that pink flamingo and the sentiment. I haven't tried a latch card, it's next on my list for this week thanks for the inspiration

Great card! Love that beautiful pink flamingo. What a fun scene you created. The frog and his Lilly pad make a very nice latch. Clever thinking! Nice choice for your inspiration card. Your case of that card is lovely. Your technique is superb. TFS
