This is for the team's HYCCT challenge to use a technique you have never done before. The one I selected is Watercolor Bokeh. Watercolor Bokeh Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
It called for circle dies, which I don't have. I thought I could use circle punches, however, they won't punch through the acetate. However, I do have heart shaped dies, which I used those in various sizes to make my stencil. On watercolor paper, I applied water mixed with drops of ink. After it died, I sponged on white craft ink. It was a damp day and even though I used a heat gun, the craft ink wasn't drying fast enough. So, I used clear embossing powder to heat emboss the sponged hearts. Then I assembled the card, popping up the girl and sentiment. She seemed to be saying "Big Thanks". This was a fun technique to try and one that I will do again. I'm grateful for the push to do it. I hope you tried a new technique, too. Thank you for looking.
