I decided to make another card for Lee's CAS challenge this week: Time to Hibernate.
Use a critter that hibernates or something that keeps you warm, such as a scarf or blanket. Bears hibernate and he is wearing a scarf.
I used distress stain for the background to make it look like a snowy day. The falling snow is made with Winsor & Newton water colour (in a tube). I die cut the trees and added acrylic paint for snow that was sticking to the trees. After coloring the image, I cut it out and placed it.
This will go to my five year old granddaughter. Her mom told me she walked around for the longest time with the last card I sent her. She loved it and that makes me happy.

Please don't take your organs to heaven - heaven knows we need them here.
I absolutely love your card, it is so beautifully done. I teach kindergarten and can picture your granddaughter cherishing her handmade card. Maybe she too will be a future stamper!

Oh gosh Benz, this is so cute. Your granddaughter is going to be carrying this one around too. The image is adorable and I love all your fancy paints and stains an everything else under the sun you use now days. I can't even keep up with stamps or die cuts, so I know I won't catch up with you on the paints/stains! Great job!

Adorable. I wondered if you were sending this card to a girl with all the pink & purple packages. What a cute story about your GDD carrying your card around. She will love this one! Love the scene. The car is awesome. Beary cute! Great job. TFS
