I knew I wanted to use this image from the minute I first saw this superhero challenge. Finally got to working out the details. It turns out I had a piece of acetate laying on my table, so I used that to create the phone booth. The booth is popped up off the base and the girl is popped off the booth. I also wanted a retro black and white look, so I used lots of etching on the original images. I think it gives it more of a vintage look. For bold contrast and emphasis, I colored her cape bright red. Hope you like the final result.

What a great card!! Love the use of acetate. I just saw a picture of my grandchildren's German Shepherd, in San Francisco, and the dog wore a red cape for Halloween!
