I started this page in October for the Oct. inspiration challenge, just didn't finish until November. Still, this was a great challenge for any Autumn photos you may have yet to scrap.
The base page is from SU, very long time ago, and was the perfect color I wanted to play with. Edges sponged with ink. Even though it is a pattern, it is quite enough to act like a solid so I could add some texture paste over a stencil. When my DGD sent this shot of Tiny Tot to me I printed it at 8x10 because I wanted to fill the page with it. The background in the photo was perfect to act like a backing to the child; where as if I printed it in a 4x6 she would have been too small to enjoy. I "doctored" the leaves with various pads of chalk inks to give the turning colors effect. One little photo of her in a pumpkin mask for the frame, various clip art from the Internet, sequins and orange rhinestones serve as my embellishments.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE this! What a beautiful job you did, and I agree, the large photo was the way to go! I love the "doctored" leaves and other little Halloween image embellies, but my fave is the little framed shot of her in her mask. The perfect final touch! AWEsome page, Joyce Ann!

Joyce Ann, this is such a treasured page to have. Looks like she is in a pumpkin patch as I see more pumpkins in the background. Is Tiny Tot your grandchild? She is really the cutest thing ever. You have such wonderful details.

This is absolutely adorable!! Love the large photo then coupled with that background paper and stencil work! Gorgeous! Great work on the leaves that act like an overlay for the bottom half of the page!!

Joyce Ann, this is a beautiful page. I love the way you framed this fantastic photo with the die cut leaves. The spnging of the edges makes a subtle, not overwhelming accent. I lvoe the little elements along the lower area too.

I like how your photo is "grounded" with all the leaves and bitty artwork pieces on the bottom of the page. It's fun to just look at it and see all the cute little bits you incorporated!
